We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO Boxes.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship internationally, including to Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Essential Delivery Guidance #
When placing an order you are free to select your preferred delivery date. We aim to deliver all orders in accordance with your choice of delivery service but do not guarantee this. Currently we deliver 98.9% of all orders on the date selected with your order.
English Roses does not guarantee delivery on your selected date. Our delivery partner DPD reserves the right during peak times, bank holidays and weekends to deliver either side of your requested service.
For deliveries scheduled for a Monday, we will typically dispatch the Friday before. DPD can in some instances deliver these orders earlier on either the Saturday or Sunday. We do inform customers of this in both your order confirmation email and order dispatched emails. However please contact us before Friday at 11am if a delivery earlier than Monday is unacceptable, and we can reschedule this. Once an order is dispatched English Roses is unable to make changes to the delivery schedule.
When placing an order please ensure the delivery address is totally correct. English Roses is not responsible for any incorrect information on the order details, and any subsequent delays or issues with delivery. Any extra charges incurred due to incorrect details being provided are the customers responsibility.
If you notice any errors with your order, please let us know as soon as possible. Orders placed with incorrect information can have their details amended up until the point of dispatch. Unfortunately once an order has been dispatched, any further amendments are unable to be made.
Potted Roses Deliveries #
Our standard delivery charge is £6.99 and is carried out within 2-3 days of your chosen date when placing your order.
The calendar will automatically choose the next available date for delivery, usually within 2-3 days, unless another day is selected. Next day deliveries must be placed before 12pm, orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the following day for delivery the day after that.
What if I am not going to be in? #
DPD offer the option to provide a secure location in the event you are not in to receive your parcel. Please note that this is at the drivers discretion. DPD policies state that a secure location is on the property and not with a neighbour. If you would like your order left with a neighbour you must rearrange your delivery on the DPD app or website using the tracking number provided.
Alternatively, you can use the tracking function to rearrange the date of delivery. English Roses cannot be held responsible for any delivery issues resulting from using this function.
How Your Rose Will Be Delivered #
Here at English Roses we put have put a lot of thought and care into how to get our roses to you safely. We have worked closely with our packaging designers to develop a bespoke box that ensures your rose can travel the country and still arrive in perfect condition. We’d like to think that not only is our delivery box practical, but it’s beautiful too, meaning you receive a gift that is ready to give.
We take care to be as sustainable as possible here at English Roses, and so avoid single use plastics and use recycled material wherever possible. Our packaging is also fully recyclable, even down to the strapping on our cardboard boxes. Our gift wrapping also contains natural materials, many of which can be repurposed and reused.

Potted Roses #
Our potted roses are grown in large 5L pots. This is safely nestled inside our custom designed box, within an inner protective cardboard tray.
To open simply cut the recyclable card strapping and slide open the long edge of the box to reveal your new potted rose.
Inside the box your potted rose is contained in a cardboard protective tray which can be slipped out and easily opened by once again cutting the strapping securing it, and unfolding the top tabs.
If you have selected gift wrapping, then your rose will be contained within the gift wrapping of your choice and any additional gift tags or messages will be printed on the plant information label or hung on a stem.
If you would like to gift your rose within its box, then both the inner tray and outer parcel can be refolded and secured, ready for presenting to the lucky recipient.

Please notify us of any delivery issue, including non-delivery, within 24 hours. Unfortunately we are unable to investigate any notification after this time, and as such any order will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
