We have various options for gift wrapping your rose, so you can make it truly unique. From personalised gift messages, gift bags and tags, and a whole range of gardening extras, you will be able to make a thoughtful and beautiful gift from the rose of your choice.

How do I order gift wrap options? #
When you add a rose to your basket, the gift option window will appear and show you the gift message box. If you don’t want to select an item, just click continue and it will take you to the next option.

A Step by Step Guide to Gift Wrapping Your Rose #
Add a Free Gift Message #
You can add a personal gift message (up to 150 characters) on any rose FREE of charge. When you add a rose to your basket, the gift option window will appear and show you the gift message box. We will then print your personal message on our beautiful A6 gift tags that will be attached to the variety card on the rose. You can also choose to upgrade your gift message to one of our wonderful greetings cards.
Every rose will come with our two A6 printed tags. The ‘A Gift for You’ card has a beautiful watercolour rose design on the front, and a space for your FREE gift message printed on the back.
The second card is the rose variety tag. This includes the name of your rose and a QR code that takes you to our website for more information. Using environmentally friendly plastic-free packaging is important to us, so we do not use plastic rose-specific tags. The card also includes some useful care advice to help your rose get the best start.
Upgrade to a Greetings Card #
You can upgrade your free gift message to be specially printed inside our wonderful range of greetings cards. After writing your message in the free gift message box, simply choose the card you would like. We will then print it on our specially created rose design label inside the card.
Gift Bags and Planted Containers #
Potted Roses: #
You can choose from our range of colourful drawstring bags that will go around our recyclable plastic pots. These fabulous bags make your gift look extra special and can also be reused as a useful bag after planting.
Alternatively, choose to have your rose expertly hand-planted by our rose care team in a large willow basket. Your rose will be safely nestled among approx 14L of quality fresh compost and premium slow release fertiliser, thus giving it all the nutrients that make our roses so stunning. Finished with a bark topping to aid water retention and suppress weeds, it also gives a gift-ready finish. At approx 14L, this large basket can therefore provide all your rose needs for up to 2 years with no replanting necessary, making it the perfect hassle-free gift!
Bare Root Roses: #
For our range of bare root roses, you can choose to have them specially planted in containers by our rose care team. Choose from our 5.5L recyclable plastic pots or our large willow basket, for a special gift.
Hanging Gift Tags #
We also offer a range of printed wooden gift tags that will hang on the rose and attach to the A6 gift message and rose variety tag. Choose from a variety of greetings and milestone numbers that fit the occasion, and give a keepsake that can be treasured forever.
Sachet of Rose Feed #
Choose a sachet of rose feed to keep your rose thriving. Our pet safe, granulated rose feed will help your new rose get the very best start in life. Whether you are planting your rose in the ground or in a patio pot, use this feed to give it the essential nutrients needed for happy and healthy growth.

How do gift messages work? #

Can I order multiple/different gift wrap options in one order? #
Yes, you can order multiple gift wrap options. If you order multiple roses, just follow the gift wrap window and choose the gift options you would like each time. This means you can personalise each rose with different messages and accessories. In your basket, the gift wrap you have selected will be listed under each rose, so you can clearly see what will arrive with each rose.
Will the prices be shown on the order? #
No, prices are not shown on the packing slip. If you are sending it directly to the recipient, they will not see the prices, so you can rest assured that your gift will be a special surprise.
Where will my gift wrap be? #
Your free gift message, along with your rose variety label and your hanging wooden gift tag (if selected), will be hanging on the rose. If you chosen a willow basket with your order, our rose care team will have planted the rose into the basket before dispatch. If you have chosen a drawstring bag, this will be wrapped around the 5.5L standard pot. Greetings cards, rose feed, and any other options such as gloves or deadheaders, can be found safely nestled inside the innermost box.
