Rose Care
What should I do when I receive my potted rose?
When you recive your potted rose, please follow these simple steps:
1. Unbox your rose on the day of delivery and remove all packaging
2. Place your rose outside in natural daylight (do not keep inside)
Your rose will be happy in its pot like this for several weeks, or up to two years if delivered in a willow basket. Water regularly, and repot or plant into your garden when convenient. For further guidance, please see our detailed help & advice pages.
Can I keep my rose inside?
No, please do not keep your rose inside at any point of the year. Our roses are fully hardy and need to be outside all year round. Bringing them inside, or even sheltering them in a garden shed over the winter, will disrupt the growing cycle and affect the health of your rose.
It’s cold/wet/windy/frosty outside. Will my rose be ok?
Yes! Roses are fully hardy plants and need to be outside all year round. Bringing them inside, even into a garden shed/greenhouse for shelter, will disrupt their growing cycle and affect the health of your rose.
