As spring arrives and the weather warms, roses will be emerging from dormancy and starting to grow. Their stems will have been lightly pruned to encourage new growth, and leaves may start to appear. Roses grow at different rates, depending on variety, age, and weather conditions. Roses still need to be kept outside even if the temperatures fall.
Iceberg Rose
Iceberg Rose is a classic variety, named the World’s Favourite Rose in 1983 and still a firm favourite for many. This stunning floribunda produces large clusters of snowy-white double flowers from early in the season. Shapely pink-tinged buds ensures beauty in your garden even before the pure snow-white blooms appear. The sweet fragrance really comes into it’s own on warm summer days, and the cut flowers make a beautiful addition to indoor floral arrangements. Floribunda roses are bush roses and thus ideal for borders and large patio pots, and can be planted straight away.

How will my rose arrive?
Our roses are cut back for the Winter to promote root growth, thus will arrive with short but healthy stems between October and March. Roses in April and May would be expected to have new growth and leaves, and then between May and September buds and blooms. *Please note: These are estimates and can vary due to weather conditions and exact variety of rose.
Your rose will be in a large 5.5L container, which is recyclable and thus can be disposed of accordingly in your home recycling bin.
We take care to be as sustainable as possible here at English Roses, and so avoid single use plastics at all costs. Our packaging is therefore fully recyclable, even down to the strapping on our cardboard boxes. Our gift wrapping also contains natural materials, many of which can be repurposed and reused.

Rose bushes go through different stages of growth throughout the year. They will look different as they move from their dormant phase in the winter to being in full bloom during the summer. For more information on how a rose will look throughout the year, please see our growth guide.
Our standard container is 5.5L, or there is the option to upgrade to our large willow basket for a patio ready gift! All roses (except bare root) will be securely packaged into our specially designed box, and are delivered via DPD. More information on sizing and delivery can be found in our help guides.

We offer tracked delivery to mainland UK (excluding highlands, islands & Northern Ireland) via DPD. Full tracking is provided on all orders, including updates on estimated delivery time.
Next day delivery is available on orders placed before 12pm midday on weekdays (weekends & 2-day Scotland service excluded). You can also choose your preferred delivery date at checkout, up to 60 days in advance.
Free delivery is available on orders £100+ (2-day Scotland service excluded).
