For happy and healthy blooms, this box of Mother’s Day garden gifts contains our very own English Roses Protect & Grow Rose Foliar Feed; a special blend of nutrients that is applied directly to the leaves of the plant. The direct application increases the rate at which the nutrients are absorbed by the rose, therefore providing a near-instant boost of goodness! Arriving as a 500ml concentrate bottle alongside an empty trigger-handle spray bottle, this provides 50L of feed when diluted according to instruction.

We’re also including a large pack of premium slow-release rose feed – enough to feed one rose for a whole year! Our premium slow release rose feed is specially formulated to provide the rose with a boost of nutrients, nourishing the plant from the roots upwards and ensuring they get what they need all year round. The included sachet of root growth granules is ideal for using when planting roses – this natural fungi that works with the root system to create a healthier and stronger rose. Both are eco-friendly and safe to use with pets and wildlife – no artificial chemicals here! Full instructions for use are provided, plus helpful tips and advice on how to care for the rose.

What does the gift voucher include?

A gift voucher can be added to your gardener’s gift box by selecting the option from the menu. Vouchers are printed inside the greetings card of your choice, alongside your personal gift message. Simply click “Add to Basket” and follow the steps to further personalise your gift basket.

Gift vouchers are available for one, two, or three roses, and also include delivery of the roses* so there are no further costs for the recipient. Vouchers are valid for one year, and can be redeemed for any rose(s) potted in our standard 5.5L containers. The voucher will not include any of our additional gift wrap options, including planting into a large willow basket. These can be added but will incur an extra cost.

Vouchers valid for multiple roses must be redeemed at the same time. Full instructions for redeeming the voucher code are included and can also be found here.

How long are the gift vouchers valid?

The lucky recipient will have one year to redeem the gift voucher, from date of purchase. This means they can choose their roses at any stage of growth. Starting to grow happily in the spring, fully blooming in the summer. Or even pruned back and ready for planting in the winter.

Size and Season Information

As spring arrives and the weather warms, roses will be emerging from dormancy and starting to grow. Their stems will have been lightly pruned to encourage new growth, and leaves may start to appear. Roses grow at different rates, depending on variety, age, and weather conditions. Roses still need to be kept outside even if the temperatures fall.

Rose bushes go through different stages of growth throughout the year. They will look different as they move from their dormant phase in the winter to being in full bloom during the summer. For more information on how a rose will look throughout the year, please see our growth guide.

Our standard container is 5.5L, or there is the option to upgrade to our large willow basket for a patio ready gift! All roses (except bare root) will be securely packaged into our specially designed box, and are delivered via DPD. More information on sizing and delivery can be found in our help guides.

We offer tracked delivery to mainland UK (excluding highlands, islands & Northern Ireland) via DPD. Full tracking is provided on all orders, including updates on estimated delivery time.

Next day delivery is available on orders placed before 12pm midday on weekdays (weekends & 2-day Scotland service excluded). You can also choose your preferred delivery date at checkout, up to 60 days in advance.

Free delivery is available on orders £100+ (2-day Scotland service excluded).
