Eco-friendly and Sustainable

Our Roses are a living gift, which means that they will continue to grow and bring joy for years to come. Not just a one-time gift with a limited shelf life, these roses will be a shining beacon in the garden for years. With many varieties attracting bees, butterflies and other insects, they will enhance the garden not only with their sunny flowers, but also with what they attract. Insects in turn make the garden more favourable to birds and other small wildlife creatures, therefore helping our British wildlife to thrive.

We only use peat-free compost for our roses, which means we are we are not depleting the limited resource of peat bogs, which fulfil a very important ecological role. Luckily, Roses love peat-free compost and will thrive in it, so you can carry on with this sustainable medium for growing too!

We also use recycled wood and bark fibre in our compost. Not just ecologically friendly, it will improve the moisture retention of your garden soil. Everyone wins!

Even our plant pots and packaging are sustainable. The pots are made from recycled plastics, and can be disposed of in your household recycling. Our packaging is manufactured form recycled paper and card, and can also be put with your recycling.

We are a small business that grow our own roses. We grow them outside, not using heated greenhouses that will burn unnecessary carbon fuels to run. This also means our plants are more tolerant of UK weather, which in turn means you get a healthier and hardier plant.
